1121 Basmati
Did you know that the highest recorded length of uncooked 1121 Basmati Rice in the Limca Book of World Records (2008) is between 8.30 – 8.45 mm?
Thanks to its rich history & heritage, extra-long & slender grain, aromatic fragrance & lasting flavour, 1121 basmati rice is often the first choice of both our domestic and overseas buyers.
When cooked, 1121 is lighter, longer, fluffier & does not stick together. Like fine wine, it gets better with age too.

1718 Basmati
1718 is a new basmati variety. It is actually an improved version of the iconic Pusa 1121.
This modified PUSA 1121 seed is resistant to bacterial leaf blight and prevents flattening of crop during rain, hailstorm or strong wind.
It is one of the best basmati varieties famous for its long & slender grains, distinct aroma, delicate nutty flavour & fluffy texture when cooked. It is a preferred choice for chefs & consumers alike.

Prior to cooking, it is recommended to soak it for 20 to 30 minutes. When cooked, it releases a fragrant nutty & floral aroma with a slightly sweet undertone.
It remains separate and fluffy once cooked, and offers a light and pleasing mouthfeel.
