About Indian Rice

Basmati rice is specially cultivated in the foothills of Himalayas because soil and climatic condition of this area is very favourable for the unique aroma, taste and texture of rice. Basmati is a hindi word which means “Queen of Fragrance”. It has very fine aromatic flavour with slender grains. After cooking it swells only lengthwise, thereby resulting in long slender grains that are separate and fluffy.Basmati rice was introduced in the Middle East by Indian Traders and now this is not only an important part of various Indian/Pakistani cuisines but now have spread extensively in Arab, Persian, European and other countries. Not only Basmati, company also manufacture and supply Non-basmati rice to Indian Government, African markets and in different tenders.
